Lounging lazily along the beach
Bound to speak what’s on my mind
I could be denied my right to free speech
As what I say might be unkind

For those who would be confronted
With facts they don’t want to hear
Might very well be affronted
If the spotlight is too clear

Imagining what all I might say
Just what might be revealed
In the light of a brand new day
Of those things that were concealed

And what you thought was hidden
Exposed for to be ridiculed
Those habits that are forbidden
Where you were overruled

And the majesty of what is Divine
Shall surely overrule your ways
For it is not yours but mine
Questioned in the darkest days

With a hop, skip, and a jump
You get busted right down the line
Just like you hit a traffic bump
More like an explosive land mine

Gone to glory you are not
You’re headed for that other place
Where it is always rather hot
And there I will rest my case
